Product Lead – Data

At Outmarket, we’re changing how commercial insurance works by making data useful—instantly. Our AI-powered platform helps brokers, MGAs, and carriers extract structured insights from PDFs, spreadsheets, emails, portals, and more. We don’t just ingest data—we operationalize it.
We’re looking for a Product Lead for Data to own the most critical part of our platform: the pipeline that transforms unstructured, fragmented information into clean, actionable intelligence. If you’ve built data products before and want to lead the team that’s rewriting the rules of data ingestion, this role is for you.

• You’ll work directly with the Co-founder & CEO (ex-Uber, Meta, Ethos) and Co-founder (early IBM Watson AI)

• You’ll lead the roadmap for how Outmarket connects with websites, portals, PDFs, Excel, and third-party APIs—at scale

• You’ll help create a category-defining system of intelligence that the industry has never seen before

What You’ll Do

• Own the roadmap for our data ingestion, enrichment, and pipeline products

• Define how we capture data across formats: PDFs, portals, APIs, spreadsheets, emails

• Partner with AI and engineering to design scalable workflows for cleaning, validating, and mapping incoming data

• Drive integration strategy with carriers, rating engines, AMS, and submission portals

• Work closely with customer-facing teams to understand pain points and unblock usage

• Prioritize ruthlessly, test rapidly, and ship improvements weekly

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of product management experience, ideally in data platforms, ingestion pipelines, or B2B SaaS

• Strong understanding of ETL, APIs, OCR, structured/unstructured data challenges

• Track record of building data infrastructure products or platform-level features

• Ability to translate messy business needs into clear product requirements and workflows

• Hands-on enough to prototype, test, and QA with engineers and customers

• Relentless prioritizer who thrives in fast-paced environments

Bonus If You Have

• Experience in insurance tech, fintech, or enterprise data platforms

• Familiarity with data mapping, entity resolution, enrichment models, or schema design

• Exposure to AI-assisted data extraction or LLM-driven document processing
